A wire rope grip for every wire rope

As a UK leading rope supplier, we stock wire rope grips(aka bulldog grips) in a variety of sizes, ranging from 3-40mm in diameter. These are all constructed from hot-dipped galvanised steel to DIN 741 specification. Which means, they are of commercial quality and designed to resist corrosion.

Each bulldog grip consists of:

  • a u-shaped bolt
  • a forged saddle
  • two hex nuts

No special tools are required for their assembly. To create a fixed loop, simply place the two layers of wire rope into the u-shaped bolt, fit the saddle over the rope and secure the arrangement in place using the two hex nuts. The grip can then be later disassembled and re-used time after time.

Our steel rope grips are ideal for a wide range of domestic and commercial uses, including signage, catenary projects, wire plant supports, wire washing lines, and other non-lifting applications. And they are available to buy for a very affordable price, with a 3mm grip starting from just 18p.
