Specification

The D-SPLICER fixed F25 is a single needle with a fixed handle and is easy to use as a splicing fid for ropes.

The unique double needle clamps your line and makes it easy to pull through.

The F25 is for up to 6-8mm single braided, 16-20mm double braided although the size is approximate as the needles work in many other situations.

Worked perfectly

Bought as I was struggling to get the core back in to the cover while splicing a new tightly sheathed polyester braid on braid rope. Initially I tried without success to push the smallest Selma fid (4mm) with core attached back into the outer cover of 8mm rope but unfortunately the fid stuck real tight due to a lack of volume in outer, instead I used this d-splicer to pull the core through the outer, still tight but with a little patience totally possibly without much effort.Matt (29 Jun 2023, 22:26)
