I bought these lengths of rope for dog leads that I was making and also to practice my splicing, which I hadn’t done before. The rope was really nice to work with and I was pleased with how the splicing turned out.

I recently looked on Ropes direct website and was overwhelmed with the amount of choice so I phoned the contact number for advice. Got through straight away and was passed to technical department who was very very helpful. Placed order at at 10am and it arrived before 10 the following day. Invoice was emailed Perfect. Will not be looking anywhere else next time I require rope. I don’t normally bother writing a review but this firm certainly deserve praise.

Purchase of dyneema ropes, special knife and whipping twine
Very helpful and friendly service, product arrived next day in the one hour slot. Exactly what I wanted and excellent value. I purchased 4,6,8 and 10mm rope and have already used some. It was easy to work, including a strop with an eye splice each end. The knife was good for cutting the rope. I should have bought the scissors too – next time.
