I raise my glass to say “Cheers” to Ropes Direct. Yesterday, I was unsure of what to order so phoned them. It was a most pleasant and helpful chat so I was happy to place the order soon after midday. To my amazement, the parcel arrived this morning about 11 a.m. less than 24 hours after ordering. Bear in mind that this was not just stock items as I had requested soft splices in both ends of the rope which were very professionally done ( I used to sail a lot so can recognise good ropework when I see it). The rope itself is to be used as a bannister and is soft to the hand but with good grip and is ideal for the purpose.
