This was a similar order to one placed 3 years ago and the Synthetic rope has weathered really well a natural rope would not but it’s hard to tell them apart.

I only needed a small amount of rope for a project, and found Ropes Direct after trying various sites for 30mm polypropylene rope by the metre, without success. Those who had it wanted me to buy an entire roll, not just the amount I needed. Ropes Direct not only had 32mm by the metre, but a host of other sizes, some of which I decided I could probably use too, so I bought more than I’d planned. That was 10:45am on the Monday. At 3:50pm I received an email from the courier advising me the delivery would be with me by 4pm the next day, and the following morning I had a follow-up email to say delivery would be between 11:30 and 1:30 – it arrived at 12:30. I think that’s fantastic service from a company that really understands what service means, and I’m very glad I found them. Unfortunately rope is something I only need to buy occasionally, but next time I won’t be shopping around, I’ll be coming straight back here because I don’t think anyone does it better – and I’ll be recommending you to anyone of my friends who needs anything too. Thank you.
Our tug-of war rope
We needed a new rope for our carnival last weekend, and it was quite time critical. The lady said when the order arrived she would ensure it was sent rapidly. It arrived before the big day and was perfect for the job.

I have frequently bought ropes here to be used for working heavy horses.
Rope is excellent quality, can be machine washed, and the splices are good to give confidence being attached to a horse.

Rope for bridge
This 24mm synthetic rope was cut and finished very nicely to go both sides of a small bridge in our garden. It looks really nice and being synthetic should stand the test of rain and sun. Ropes Direct have a great website but also very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this company.
