We are always advising customers that our Synthetic Hemp rope is perfect for swings, rope ladders, tree houses and climbing frames.
So we’re delighted to have been sent some photos from customer Sam, showing just that.
They’ve re-strung their own fantastic climbing net for their back garden: A perfect playground for the children, adding a bit of adventure and activity for the summer.
They used our 16mm Synthetic Hemp rope, which is easy to work with yet easily strong enough for the tough task that it is being put to.
The key features of Synthetic Hemp rope is that it looks like natural hemp (which is made with plant fibres), it feels soft like natural hemp and it’s really strong. But it is actually made of Polypropylene fibres, so it does not rot and withstands the outside well.
When you tie a knot in a thick rope it uses up quite a length – in this case about 20cms, so that needs to be factored in. And note how the ends of the rope have heat sealed end caps on them, which we supplied.
When Sam sent us the pictures she told us: “Very happy with your excellent products and service and very good website.”
Just as we published this article another customer left us this review: “My synthetic hemp rope is still as good as when I bought it 3 years ago !” Which helps illustrate our point.
We try to pack just the right information on our website to help you make informed choices. But if you are stuck then take a look at the many other articles in this section which may inspire you. Or our Help Choosing Rope section with our RopeFinder feature.
