I buy woven cotton cord to add to drawstring bags I make to sell and have been used to using the 'crafts' quality cord, which is okay, but fairly loosely woven and the ends fray if left untreated. I wanted to find a better quality cord and I am SO impressed by the vastly superior quality of this cord - it's quite beautiful, which might sound quite silly for something as utilitarian as cotton cord, but as someone who has a handmade business, I really appreciate quality! Amazingly, the ends of the cord really don't fray when cut, although I assume they will fray a bit over time (I add a PVC tape over the ends to avoid this).
