2.25kg ball of 3/200 Sisal Twine

A natural 3-ply Sisal twine with an approximate length of 450m.

The 3/200m means that it is a 3-ply twine with a runnage of 200m per kg.

The diameter is approximately 3mm - see image.

Sisal twine is most often used as a general packaging twine. Also perfect for garden use. It is made from natural fibres (Agave Sisalana) so it looks traditional and is biodegradable. It is especially resistant to sunlight and has little to no stretching.

Great for stringing hops

I was struggling to find a good natural fibre for stringing our hop bines. Fortunately the Ropes Direct team were ale to advise me. I bought the 3mm Sisal suggested and it's worked a treat. Our hops are shooting up it as we speak. Cheers!Alex (13 May 2024, 15:06)
