16mm Grade1 Natural Manila Rope sold in a 220m coil for ease of use and storage. (The image we have used here is of a coil of 18mm). We also sell this rope by the metre and wound on to handy reels.

Our manufacturer has labelled this rope as 16mm but we measure the actual diameter at about 17mm. Our photo shows a 12mm coil.

This Manila Rope has been manufactured in The Philippines and conforms to EN ISO 1181 – 2004. Whilst not test-certificated the 16mm has an approximate Minimum Breaking Load of 1900kg

Manila is a good strong traditional natural rope that is especially resistant to sunlight and stretches very little. It is ideal for use in the garden and being natural it complements planting and timber work. Uses include handrails, fencing, lawn & deck edging, swing & climbing ropes, rose & pergola swags.
