The standard finish for this Cotton Rope is for both the left and right ends to be taped. If you would like to have them either whipped, soft spliced or hard spliced please visit our 'Rope End Finishes' category.

Cotton Rope is a soft, flexible 3-strand rope, very comfortable to handle and the least likely rope to cause rope burns. It has many uses including animal halters, circus work, magic tricks, bird or pet toys and decorative knot work.

Our cotton rope is 100% natural, comes from a managed harvest and has not been bleached. Although it is not resistant to water, oil or other chemicals it can be dyed using a proprietary hand dye.

Have you read our Q&A page regarding possible shrinkage and actual rope diameters and our Helpful Hints page? This is particularly relevant for Cotton Rope.

We also sell this rope in other diameters and also a range of coloured cotton ropes.

Natural cotton rope

I am really pleased with the natural rope I recently purchased from you. It is perfect to wrap around the base of tank vases containing a seaside theme,at a forthcoming wedding, that as a florist, I am designing. The rope will trail from the central vase and spiral around a small straight sided vase containing Daisies. I am also going to loop lots of rope around an arch outside the venue, this will be decorated with small bunches of Daisies and assorted shells. I was so pleased that you sold rope that was natural in colour, neatly wound and soft. I am using the twine to seal the ends of each piece of rope that I use. I thought that you would like to know the imaginative ways rope can be used! ThankyouSharon Foreman (Apr 02 2012, 15:20 pm)
